Vanessa is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Musical Theatre Performance. She has performed in numerous shows and music venues in Chicago and Los Angeles, eventually discovering her passion for vocal coaching and choir direction in 2014.
Her work as a choral director naturally led to private voice teaching, where she built a thriving studio serving students of all ages and experience levels — from beginners to professionals. Vanessa has successfully guided singers to national tours, top musical theatre college programs, and Broadway stages.
With a deep belief in the transformative power of music, Vanessa also holds a master’s degree in Music Therapy from NYU and works in the mental health field in Los Angeles, combining artistry and wellness through music.
