about Vanessa

Vanessa graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Musical Theatre Performance. She has sung in many shows ​and music venues around Chicago and Los Angeles. In 2014, she began her journey with music direction using her knowledge of the voice focusing on choral work.

​During her choral work she fell into private teaching and found her true passion. Her studio grew quickly serving ages 4-94. from brand new beginners to professionals. Successfully sending students to musical theatre college programs, national tours, and Broadway.

Vanessa then found the field of music therapy and attended New York University for her master's degree in music therapy. Vanessa currently works in the mental health field as a music and recreational therapist in Los Angeles. Focusing on using the power of music to help clients find balance and acceptance.
